Learn to talk to someone.
Work with me
I care deeply about my clients. We develop strong, positive therapeutic relationships. In session, I invite curiosity and interest about your life experience and your challenges.
I believe that through the work of therapy, clients increase self-compassion, and expand their capacity for meaningful relationships and more satisfying lives.
I work with adults, adolescents and couples. My style of therapy is integrative and holistic. I apply a mixture of humanistic, cognitive-behavioral and mindfulness therapies.
In 2015, I completed extensive training in Inquiry; at The School for The Work with Byron Katie, I developed the skills to help my clients radically shift their perspective and transform their lives.
During session, I will listen to you carefully and use inquiry as you work to feel better and function at a higher level in your life.
I am a Board Certified national counselor (NCC), a NC Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Georgia Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). I earned a BA in English Literature from Carleton College in Northfield, MN and a Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health from North Carolina State University in Raleigh, NC. In addition to being a psychotherapist, I have worked in the education field for over 20 years as a teacher and a District Administrator for the International Baccalaureate Program.
It is not your fault. With help, you can feel better. Learn how to talk to someone.
Your feelings matter.
